ABOUT THIS EVENT:
Armada MI was established in 1825 and was the hometown of legendary sports announcer and journalist Dick Enberg.
The course was designed by Tom Gray (Let's Move Festival of Races and Lucky Leprechaun Race) and it is destined to be a place where runners can come and set a new PR. This fast - flat scenic course is certified by USATF and is also a sanctioned event. Runners have a good chance to set a new PR in 6 different distances.
This traditional road race takes place on mostly paved surfaces and runs on portions of the Macomb Orchard Trail and the Historic Indian Trail. Runners will be treated to scenic views of horse farms, orchards, wineries, fairways and Wolcott Mill Metro Park.
"Country" is the theme for this race and runners will have live musical performances along the route. Come "Discover the Green in Northern" Macomb County.
There are no obstacles.
It is a USATF Certified Course.
